This morning we completed our number clues and presented them to the class. We created our own 4 digit number and wrote 5 clues to have others guess what it was. A lot of us had a hard time coming up with clues that made our number easy to figure out. Try and figure out this number:
I am a 4 digit number.
I start with 6.
I have a 1 in the tens spot.
I am an odd number.
I am smaller than 6419 but bigger than 6415.
What number am I?
If you figure out the number bring your answer to school and show Ms. Binks tomorrow!
We tested our soundproofing devices today! Our most successful group had the sound of the alarm clock go from 96 decibels to 67 decibels. We started to have a discussion about how some of the materials groups used were actually conductors and would help carry the vibrations of sound waves instead of stop them. We also were turned into air, liquid and solid particles to gain a better understanding on which of these states of matter would be the best conductors. We will be completing reflections on our work around soundproofing tomorrow.
