This morning we had our spelling test on homophones. It is important that we continue to practice the correct meanings of these words (especially their, there and they're) so we can spell them correctly in our writing. Ms. Binks will start to review our journal entries for the correct use of homophones. Next week our spelling words will be contractions.
In math today we started to talk about borrowing/regrouping. This concept was a little tricky for some of us, especially if there is a zero in the bigger number. Here is a link to a step by step video we watched to help explain the concept. We will continue to work on borrowing next week before having our subtraction review.

We had our science review test on our unit of hearing and sound today. We will be starting to focus on the diverse communities of India, Peru, Tunisia and Ukraine next week.
